About Lone Star Pony ClubLone Star Pony Club (“LSPC”) is part of the Rio Grande Region of the United States Pony Clubs. LSPC includes members primarily from Southwest Austin and surrounding areas, including Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Buda and Kyle. The current membership consists of girls and boys ranging in age from 4 - 20.LSPC generally meets twice a month, usually on Sunday afternoon starting about 2 p.m. We have one unmounted educational meeting and one mounted riding instruction meeting each month, except in the summer heat when we have two unmounted meetings. Unmounted meeting locations can vary, but are often in the Dripping Springs area. Mounted meetings are currently held at a member's home arena near Buda. In addition to meetings, LSPC members also participate in regional Pony Club rallies in eventing, show jumping, dressage, and, occasionally, mounted games throughout the year.
