About Us
Lone Star Pony Club (“LSPC”) is part of the Rio Grande Region of the United States Pony Club. LSPC includes members primarily from Southwest Austin and surrounding areas, including Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Buda and Kyle. The current membership consists of girls and boys ranging in age from 7- 16 yrs., with the majority in the 11-15 range. LSPC is open to younger and older riders.

Currently, unmounted meetings are held the second Sunday of each month from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., usually at a member’s home or riding facility. Mounted meetings are generally held on the fourth Sunday of each month, at a riding facility, and start about the same time as unmounted meetings, but may vary according to the schedule of the instructor. In addition to meetings, LSPC members also participate in regional Pony Club rallies in eventing, showjumping, dressage, and, occasionally, mounted games throughout the year.
